Michael Cardone III is the founder and CEO of A3 Global. Prior to founding A3, Michael served for over 20 years at Cardone Industries, a leading global designer, manufacturer, and supplier of new and remanufactured automotive parts. Michael worked his way up, rotating through different parts of the business before ultimately being promoted to the company’s third-generation President and Executive Chairman. Under his leadership, Michael led 6,000 employees and grew the company to one of the world’s largest privately held parts remanufactures. In 2019, Michael and his family successfully excited Cardone Industries, and he became Director of OWS Capital Investments, where he is still active today. Michael holds a BA in management from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.  

Aaron Poynton is co-founder and CCO of A3 Global. Aaron started his career in the US Army, where he served for ten years and progressed from Private to Captain. After military service, Aaron worked in commercial leadership and executive roles in global defense, technology, and government markets for over a decade. Aaron was Global Sales Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific; SVP at Federal Resources, a Defense Logistics Agency Prime Vendor; and founder of Omnipoynt Solutions, a global 4IR strategy and management consulting firm. Aaron earned his LLM in commercial law from the London School of Economics (LSE), MBA from Duke, and completed his post-graduate studies at Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

John Adams is COO and CFO at A3 Global. John began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young in Philadelphia, primarily working with technology and private equity clients. He then joined the CMS Companies as Controller, overseeing accounting activities and aiding in transitioning various systems and investor reporting platforms. In 2014, John became the CFO for MainLine Affiliated Entities. After nearly two decades of accounting and corporate executive roles, John explored entrepreneurial opportunities for his next career chapter, joining A3 Global. John has a bachelor’s in accounting from Clearwater Christian College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Eugene Smotkin is SVP of R&D at A3 Global. Previously, he was CEO and founder of Nuvant Systems, a worldwide provider of renewable battery technology, which was acquired by A3 Global in January 2022. Dr. Smotkin has 14 US patents, 90 publications, and has chaired and organized five International Symposiums in the US, Japan, and Iceland.  Eugene holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a professor of chemistry at Northeastern University, where the central theme of his lab is the discovery of better materials for clean energy sources and processes through electrolytes and electrocatalytic materials. Professor Smotkin is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and has mentored 19 MS and Ph.D. graduates.
